Alpenglow Off-Grid is led by a small, dedicated team committed to building reliable off-grid power systems and supporting self-reliant living. We believe in hands-on work, clear communication, and building long-term relationships with the communities we serve.
Ari’s off-grid journey began over a decade ago while living in a small hunter’s cabin without power. After being quoted nearly $60,000 by PG&E just to bring grid power to the property, he chose a different path – building his own off-grid solution from the ground up.
With over 12 years of hands-on solar and off-grid experience, Ari specializes in designing and installing dependable power systems for homes and remote properties. His approach is practical, thoughtful, and rooted in real-world use, helping clients gain true energy independence without unnecessary complexity.

I love charging my EV at Alpenglow Off Grid. Driving around knowing my vehicle is 100% powered by the Sun is purely magical. Thank you Ari!

I highly recommend Alpenglow. I’ve had two solar related jobs done and I’m so happy. High quality service, systems and knowledge. Ari is the best all around solar experience I’ve had. My systems are totally carefree and reliable which I so appreciate. Can’t believe how fast it recharges. Janet Preece

I myself Licensed Contractor. I have all the heavy equipment and machinery to dig trenches, lay pipe and run wire. All I needed PG&E to do was to set their meters. PG&E wanted an absurd amount of money. 50k was the quote!
Solar was my best option.

Alpenglow set up my off-grid solar system last fall and the past year with the system has been a dream. I’ve had no issues and it feels so good when the rest of my street has a power outage, I’m still online baby! I feel so secure and self sufficient.
